David Prentice
Non-Executive Chairman

David Prentice has more than 25 years’ experience in commercial management and business development within the natural resources sector, working for some of Australia’s leading resource companies. This has included high-level commercial and operational roles with a number of publicly listed and unlisted resource companies. The last 10 years have seen David gather extensive experience (both corporate and operational) in the US on-shore oil and gas exploration and production sector with a particular focus on the mid-continent region.

David currently serves as executive chairman of Noronex Limited (ASX:LRM) and non-executive director of Comet Resources (ASX:CRL).

Robert Klug
Non-Executive Director

Mr Klug is an experienced resources executive with a career spanning more than 20 years in corporate development, legal and commercial roles. Mr Klug has worked in small to mid-cap mining and exploration companies with his most recent role as Chief Commercial Officer and General Counsel of Sandfire Resources (Sandfire). At Sandfire, Mr Klug oversaw copper sales and marketing and was a key part of Sandfire’s successful acquisition of MOD Resources in Botswana.

James Thompson
Executive Director

Mr Thompson has been a founder and director of numerous ASX-listed and private resource companies over the last decade in the base, precious and battery metals sectors. His involvement has encompassed multiple phases of the junior resource company life cycle, from project generation, capital raising, M&A and operations through to exit.

His 25-year career includes significant investment and private equity experience with firms including Macquarie Bank, Quadrant Private Equity and Viburnum. Mr Thompson has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws and commenced his career as a chartered accountant with KPMG.

Piers Lewis
Non-Executive Director

Piers Lewis has over 20 of years corporate advisory experience with various ASX and AIM listed companies and is a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.   Piers completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Western Australia and is a member of Chartered Secretaries Australia.  In 2001 he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte (Perth), and brings to our clients extensive and diverse financial and corporate experience from previous senior management roles with Credit Suisse (London); Mizuho International, ABN Amro and NAB Capital and in 2011 Piers founded Smallcap Corporate, a Corporate Advisory services company.

Piers currently serves as chairman of Cycliq Group (ASX:CYQ), eSense Labs (ASX:ESE), and is company secretary for Grange Resources (ASX:GRR) and Ultima United (ASX:UUL).

Management

Bruce Hooper
Chief Geologist

Mr Hooper is a mining executive with extensive resources industry experience spanning the base metal, precious metal and energy sectors in Australia, Asia, the Americas and Africa. Bruce has been involved with a number of significant discoveries in Australia and internationally.

Most recently, he was the Chief Exploration & Business Development Officer at Sandfire Resources Ltd (ASX: SFR) where he was a key part of Sandfire’s successful 2019 takeover of MOD Resources (the owner of the T3 copper deposit on the Kalahari Copper belt) in Botswana. During this period, he was also seconded to be Chief Executive Officer of Tintina Resources based in Montana, USA. Prior to 2012, Bruce worked in several senior exploration, operational and business development roles for a variety of companies including British Petroleum ('BP'), Rio Tinto Limited, North Limited, Straits Resources Limited, Perilya Ltd, Ivernia Inc. along with both private and public board roles.

Bruce holds an BSc (Hons) from the University of Leeds and is a Registered Professional Geoscientist of the Australasian Institute of Geoscientists.

Dennis Arne
Geologist – Canada

Dennis has nearly 40 years’ experience in economic geology and exploration geochemistry globally. He has been involved in exploration programs for a variety of commodities in the Yukon, Nunavut, Quebec and Ontario in Canada, the USA, Australia, Suriname, Sudan and Laos.

He was Managing Director and Principal Consultant for CSA Global Canada until late 2017, General Manager and Principal Consultant for Revelation Geoscience (purchased by CSA Global in 2012), Principal Consulting Geochemist with ioGlobal (now Reflex Geochemistry), and formerly Senior Geochemist with Geoscience Victoria (now Geological Survey of Victoria, Australia).

Dennis is currently Director and Principal Consultant at Telemark Geosciences, a consulting firm incorporated in both Canada and Australia. He is a member and Registered Professional Geoscientist of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, a Fellow and President of the Association of Applied Geochemists, and a registered Professional Geoscientist in British Columbia, Canada.
